About Permanent Makeup

Permanent Makeup, like Powder Brows or Lip Blushing is a type of tattoo. Using gentle technique, specially formulated pigments and nanoneedles, we place tiny pixels of color in your skin to create the desired effects. 

No! Receiving a permanent makeup service should not hurt. It should feel like light scratching on your skin or lips. Numbing can be used, but the majority of our clients do not need or request it. In fact, we have had some people take a nap during the procedure!

Even if you're not a makeup-wearing type of person, sometimes a slight enhancement in your natural features, like your eyebrows or your lips, can be a huge boost in confidence! Other people may choose to receive permanent makeup to shorten their daily routine; no need to spend however long drawing on eyebrows if they are already there! Plus- it won't sweat away if you live an active lifestyle!

Many people as they mature suffer from thinning lips, color loss to their lips, brow thinning... the list goes on. Permanent makeup can be the solution by bringing back color and definition to your features and creating a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance. 

You cannot receive permanent makeup services if you are currently pregnant or nursing, or if you currently are diagnosed with cancer and/or are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments. 

Other conditions and diseases may require a note from your physician and possibly premedication before you can receive any permanent makeup. Some of these include insulin controlled diabetes, joint replacement recipients, heart disease or anyone prone to keloid scarring. All of this and more will be included in your consultation before you appointment.
